We're proud to spotlight Subconscious, a rising Malawian hip-hop artist whose journey blends creativity, intellect, and ambition. A proud product of Malawi's academic excellence, he graduated from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (formerly The Polytechnic), where he trained as an engineer while nurturing a deep passion for music that has continued to shape his artistic path.
Beyond the studio, Subconscious has also contributed to academia, serving as a lecturer at MUBAS and inspiring young innovators to pursue both knowledge and creativity. His dedication to growth remains evident as he currently advances his education with a master’s degree at the University of Malawi.
Blending artistry, education, and purpose, Subconscious represents a new generation of Malawian talent redefining what it means to balance intellect and creativity.
