Ndargo Ranks is a Lilongwe-born Malawian reggae artist whose music is deeply rooted in traditional roots reggae while embracing modern influences. Inspired by global icon Bob Marley and local reggae pioneers, Ndargo blends conscious lyrics with catchy melodies, spreading messages of love, unity and social awareness. Since emerging on the scene in the early 2007, he has built a strong local following with tracks such as “Jah Jah See Dem” and “Dry Bone,” which cemented his place in Malawi’s reggae movement. His breakthrough collaboration with a Jamaican dancehall artist opened doors beyond Malawi and eventually took him to South Africa, where he has continued to nurture and expand his sound. His latest album marks a major milestone in his career, representing his first international collaboration and fusing authentic reggae vibes with fresh global influences.
